PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Category Management Planner will support the Liquor category team with sales analysis, assortment coordination, and vendor management. This role ensures the smooth execution of product lifecycle processes and supply chain follow-up across global distribution centers. It involves close collaboration with the Regional Manager and cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential. The position is based at Avolta’s global headquarters in Madrid.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze sales performance and new product launches, providing actionable recommendations to the Regional Manager.
  • Coordinate product lifecycle activities, including delisting proposals and updates to the global assortment.
  • Monitor country and brand performance using dashboards and trackers, identifying trends and opportunities.
  • Manage vendor-related data, including updates to the Global Vendor Mapping and price lists across regions.
  • Support vendor engagement through meetings and presentations, including business reviews and novelty showcases.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on price approvals and supply chain processes for new product orders.
  • Handle vendor portal access and resolve related issues in coordination with IT and vendor teams.
  • Collaborate with Distribution Centers (UK, BCN, HK, MIA) to address assortment and supply chain incidents.

  

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree; entry-level position.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Desirable: Experience in Travel Retail.
  • Strong analytical and financial problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in data extraction and interpretation across systems and regions.
  • Self-driven, reliable, and able to work independently
