About the role

  • Assist in the implementation of the Category Strategy as defined by the Purchasing Department.
  • Support the procurement process for local assortments, including the preparation of data and materials for negotiations with local suppliers on cost prices and commercial terms.
  • Follow up and coordinate the execution of agreed action plans (pricing policy, stock management, etc.) in collaboration with departments such as Marketing, Sales, and Logistics.
  • Liaise with Category Managers to adapt assortments to local market needs and assist in managing product listings or delistings.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to support the rollout of promotional plans and help monitor discontinued stock.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the Category Manager with administrative and back-office tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and data accuracy.

 

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • 1-2 Υears previous experience in a Commercial or Category function is an advantage, though not a prerequisite.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
  • Good understanding of the retail or consumer goods industry and its key drivers.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, international business environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across teams.
  • self-motivated team player with curiosity, flexibility, and a drive to learn and grow.
  • Fluency in English and Greek (additional languages are considered an asset).
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet tools.
