PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that the established objectives are met in terms of time, cost, quality, and scope. Their main role is to guarantee the successful execution of the project by managing resources, risks, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Planning

  • Define the scope of the project.
  • Develop detailed schedules.
  • Monitor and estimate resources and costs.

2. Resource Management

  • Search for, manage, and coordinate technical teams and contractors.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and machinery required for the project.
  • Control the budget and ensure efficient use of resources.

3. Technical Supervision

  • Ensure the construction is carried out according to plans, specifications, and regulations.
  • Solve technical issues on site.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and specialists.

4.  Communication and Coordination

  • Act as a liaison between the client, contractors, authorities, and internal team.
  • Coordinate follow-up meetings.

5. Quality Control

  • Verify that materials and processes meet required standards.
  • Manage audits and external inspections.
  • Document incidents and corrective actions.

6. Project Closure

  • Validate the completion of the work as agreed.
  • Coordinate delivery on time and within the established budget.
  • Prepare final reports.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education: Degree in Technical Architecture, Degree in Industrial Engineering or Building Engineering, related to civil works and installations

Desirable: Project Manager course

English: high conversational level. Frequent contact with the Netherlands and Italy

Tools: Excel: advanced level;  Planning software: Microsoft Project Autocad: essential for drawings

Experiencie: At least 2 years of experience in a similar position

Others: Availability to travel within the country
