In Türkiye, Avolta operates Duty Free and F&B stores at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, along with Duty Free stores at Kayseri and Çukurova Airports.
For the role we are recruiting for will report directly to the Deputy General Manager - Finance & Administration and will provide corporate-level support across all operations.
We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our team as a Country Treasury & Accounts Payable Manager, based at İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The primary purpose of this role is to oversee end‑to‑end treasury, banking, liquidity, foreign exchange, accounts payable, and insurance operations across Türkiye. The position ensures the effective utilization of cash resources, seamless execution of banking processes, and full compliance with Global Treasury policies—supporting financial stability and operational continuity at a corporate level.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing daily cash positions, liquidity planning, and all bank account movements; ensuring uninterrupted coordination with banks, operational banking requirements, and POS processes, along with preparing all related reports.
- Performing complete and accurate bank account reconciliations.
- Overseeing the administration of banking products, including the monitoring of letters of guarantee, analysis of credit card sales data, and preparation of reports related to commission rates.
- Ensuring full compliance with Global Treasury reporting standards and operational guidelines.
- Managing foreign exchange transactions, FX risk mitigation activities, and updating POS/store exchange rates.
- Executing the end‑to‑end vendor payment cycle, including weekly commercial and service payment planning, approval workflows, and close coordination with Global/FSSC AP teams.
- Ensuring the effective and proficient use of the SAP system by accurately managing and controlling all processes related to POS, banking, payments, financial data flows, financial reporting, and the handling of customer spending disputes and refund requests within SAP.
- Managing the renewal of local and global insurance policies, conducting maturity and risk analyses, and administering claim files and indemnity processes.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from relevant university programs
- Excellent command of English (spoken & written)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury, banking operations, payments, or AP management.
- Solid expertise in cash management, liquidity planning, financial analysis, FX operations, and banking relationship management.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with high accuracy.
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and solution‑driven working approach.
