PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
We’re building a brand-new advertising platform from the ground up — designed to connect retail brands with millions of travelers worldwide.
As an Engineering Lead, you’ll be one of the founding technical leaders. You’ll define the architecture, ship the first MVP, and set the engineering culture for a platform that blends DOOH, CRM, and omnichannel media. This is a rare opportunity to architect a global-scale system from scratch while working hands-on with a talented cross-functional team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architect the platform: Define a scalable, modular technical foundation for campaign management, data, and integrations
- Ship the MVP: Own early delivery of campaign intake, creative workflow, traffic management, reporting, and dashboards
- Make build vs. buy decisions: Choose wisely between custom development and integrations across CMS, DMP, DSPs, and analytics
- Grow the team: Hire, mentor, and inspire the first wave of engineers
- Partner cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Ops, and Data to deliver internal tools and client-facing capabilities
- Ensure quality at scale: Build with best practices in security, performance, scalability, and compliance (GDPR, SOC2, etc.)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 6–8 years of engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role
- Proven success in 0→1 product development (AdTech, MarTech, workflow or B2B tools a strong plus)
- Strong technical background in API design, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and modern stacks (React, Node.js, Python, etc.)
- Builder’s mindset: fast, resourceful, pragmatic, and focused on outcomes
- Bonus: Experience with programmatic advertising, campaign management systems, or internal platforms
