Purpose of the Role (Can be based either in Hong Kong or Singapore)
The Enterprise Master Data Helpdesk Manager is responsible for ensuring the integrity of all merchandise data management including; Article Master, Vendor Master, Store Assortment Listings, and Merchandise Category Hierarchy, EDI, and POS Integration. The position is responsible for reviewing processes surrounding data management and systems integrations, making recommendations as needed to improve and automate the processes, and working closely with stakeholders across the organization to implement state of the art data management solutions. Enterprise Master Data Helpdesk Manager will also oversee and actively participate in any systems related enhancements and upgrades, and perform all other duties as directed by the business and/or as assigned by Management. This is a management position and reports to the Global Head of Enterprise Master Data.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruits, hires, trains, and manages the Master Data Team ensuring that the team is sufficiently trained, motivated, and that work is done on a timely basis and with a high level of accuracy.
- Provides commercial support to different stakeholders including, but not limited to Global and Local Category, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Marketing, etc.
- Works with IT/Consultants, Retail and Corporate departments to establish processes and procedures related to Data Management, ensure that established policies are followed, identify process weaknesses and suggest and implement improvements as needed to correct deficiencies or streamline processes.
- Develops metrics and reports to monitor performance and addresses areas of concern as needed.
What We Are Looking For
- Requires a degree with Business, Information Technology, or other relevant field
- Requires 1-3 years of supervisory experience; 3-6 years preferred
- Requires experience troubleshooting data problems
- Requires strong computer skills including SAP, BW, FI and Microsoft Office Suite
- Requires process analysis/improvement experience
- Requires strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
