In Türkiye, Avolta operates Duty Free and F&B stores at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, along with Duty Free stores at Kayseri and Çukurova Airports.
We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our team as a Financial Analyst, based at İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for supporting the Budget & Reporting Unit Manager.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance; coordinate with procurement and operational teams when needed.
- Liaise with local finance teams, shared service centers, and regional stakeholders regarding IFRS entries, reporting submissions, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and review key account reconciliations related to IFRS adjustments, intercompany balances, accruals, provisions, and contract-related assets/liabilities; ensure compliance with IFRS standards and group accounting policies.
- Review financial terms of contracts and ensure compliance with reporting and accounting obligations.
- Perform detailed variance analysis across revenues, costs, margins, PEX, OPEX, CAPEX, working capital, and cash flow.
- Coordinate, prepare, and review month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end IFRS reporting packages, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow insights.
- Lead or support the preparation of annual budgets and revised forecasts using company reporting tools.
- Consolidate submissions received from various departments and ensure internal consistency and accuracy.
- Investigate deviations from budget, forecast, and prior periods; provide root‑cause analysis and actionable insights.
- Proactively escalate delays, issues, critical risks, and opportunities to management.
- Ensure timely completion of audit deliverables, including reconciliations, supporting evidence, and explanations requested by auditors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors throughout group and statutory reporting cycles.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Excellent command of English (spoken & written).
- Minimum of 3 years audit experience.
- Strong knowledge of local and international accounting and finance standards.
- Strong financial background and controlling ability.
- Advanced in MS Office applications.
- Perfect knowledge of how to deal with large amounts of data.
- SAP reporting knowledge is an asset.
