RESPONSIBILITIES

Month-End Closing & IFRS16 Compliance

• Coordinates the Month- End Closing process with a focus on IFRS16 lease contracts across all entities within the Avolta Group
• Works with local and regional finance teams to ensure accurate, timely alignment with IFRS16 standards
• Facilitates the Group Consolidation process managed by Group Reporting

Lease Accounting & Data Integrity

• Maintains global database of lease contracts in the global lease tool
• Harmonizes the accounting and reporting of the different lease contracts around the organization globally.
• Ensures accurate recording of lease contracts, amendments, and terminations in the Lease Accounting tool
• Performs P&L analyses for local entities to confirm that all relevant contracts and associated financial transactions are accurately reflected in the financial ledgers

Internal Controls & IFRS16 Support

• Supports the completion of monthly internal controls and compliance with Workviva requirements related to leasing
• Answers basic IFRS16 accounting and reporting queries
• Contributes to consistent lease accounting practices across 800+ global entities.
• Instructs/trains financial accountants around the world on the correct application of IFRS16

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Having a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, any other certification is a plus
• Must have at least 2 - 3 years of experience in corporate accounting
• Having a clear understanding of IFRS16, additional knowledge on other standards is a plus
• Having a working experience with SAP FI (ECC 6.0 or S4HANA), BPC, SAP CFIN, SAP GR RCM/RMK, ONB, P&G, COMP, SAP IAS/IPS, SAP CPI, and People Analytics would be ideal
• Experience with the lease accounting tool Tagetik is an advantage
• Having advanced Excel Skills is required
• Must have strong communication skills with fluency in English, any other language like German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch would be an advantage
• Must be analytic, with ample problem-solving skills, able to prioritize, and able to take a practical approach when needed
