PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The purpose of this role is to drive and coordinate the identification, evaluation, and execution of new global business opportunities in line with the company’s expansion strategy The role ensures end‑to‑end delivery of tender projects from opportunity identification through to shop opening by aligning multiple internal stakeholders and external partners while ensuring robust business case development and execution excellence


RESPONSABILITIES

  • Lead the identification and assessment of new global business opportunities including tenders and strategic partnerships
  • Collaborate with Business Development teams to gather and qualify new opportunities aligned with the company’s growth strategy
  • Analyze market conditions retail environments and competitive landscapes to support decision-making
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of tender projects from initial identification through to shop opening
  • Define project scope key milestones timelines and deliverables
  • Identify key stakeholders and ensure clear roles responsibilities and governance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate all internal departments Marketing Procurement Logistics Finance and external partners to deliver integrated project outcomes
  • Drive the development of key project deliverables including business plans financial models marketing and commercial strategies store layouts architectural concepts and product assortment
  • Manage relationships with key local stakeholders such as airport authorities local partners and third parties
  • Ensure effective communication alignment and negotiation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure adherence to standard policies procedures and governance frameworks within the Business Development function
  • Coordinate timing preparation and follow-up of Investment Committee meetings
  • Ensure all project requirements are clearly defined documented and executed according to plan

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Master’s Degree in Business Economics Engineering or similar
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior role within a global retail organization or top-tier management consultancy
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and exposure to complex multi-stakeholder environments
  • Proven experience in business model development and strategic project execution
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities across global and local teams
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong numerical and business acumen
  • Structured and methodical approach with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Ability to lead and coordinate diverse teams in a global and matrix environment
  • High level of ownership accountability and delivery focus
  • Comfortable operating in demanding fast-paced and evolving business environments
