PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Data Scientist Developer, based in Madrid, plays a strategic role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that support decision‑making across the organization. This role combines advanced analytics, data science, and technical development to build scalable analytical solutions. Working closely with global data, IT, and business stakeholders, the Data Scientist Developer designs models, develops data products, and ensures that analytical outputs are accurate, high‑quality, and impactful for the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works with the Global Data Scientist Specialist, the Global IT BI & Integration & AI Manager, and other key stakeholders to generate hypotheses and create analytic models that answer impactful business questions
• Responsible for collaborating in and identifying new analytic trends, data needs, and analytic solutions
• Designs appropriate statistical models to extract relevant insights from datasets
• Parses, cleanses, and manipulates large amounts of structured and unstructured data for analysis
• Performs quality assurance testing to ensure that analytical models deliver accurate and reliable insights
• Works with the data sourcing team, under the guidance of the Global Data Scientist Specialist, to develop, test, implement, and maintain analytic models
• Collaborates with business stakeholders to review data sources, resolve data inconsistencies, and validate business logic during data discovery
• Explores complex data systems to uncover hidden patterns, relationships, and actionable insights
• Conducts text, quantitative, statistical, financial, and operational analyses

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience modeling data using leading analytical tools and relational data structures.
• Programming experience in SQL, Python, Java, and R.
• Statistical modeling and machine learning expertise across different domains.
• In‑depth knowledge of the Big Data landscape and analytical technology trends.
