PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Global Digital eCommerce Emporium Specialist enhances the performance of Avolta’s global digital platforms by driving conversion rate optimization through targeted campaigns and personalized digital experiences. This role plays a key part in shaping seamless, data-driven customer journeys that resonate with the internal audience—primarily employees. Collaborating closely with marketing, analytics, UX, and eCommerce platform teams, the specialist implements initiatives that increase engagement, optimize conversion, and strengthen personalization across digital channels. The position holder reports to the Global Digital eCommerce R&C Manager and can be based in Madrid, ES.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of A/B and multivariate tests across global websites and campaign landing pages to improve user experience and conversion.
- Identify friction points across product discovery ( search), navigation, and checkout, tailoring optimization to the behavior of the shoppers
- Work with design, UX, analytics, and development teams to implement data-driven improvements
- Track and report on key metrics, drawing actionable insights from test results to inform the digital commerce roadmap
- Design and manage personalized experiences across digital touchpoints using geolocation, behavioral data, shopping patterns
- Use segmentation and personalization platforms to optimize content, promotions, and product recommendations
- Coordinate with CRM and digital marketing teams to ensure consistency and relevance throughout the customer journey
- Analyze customer behavior across digital platforms to understand user journeys, engagement patterns, and conversion driver
- Leverage analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Adobe Analytics) to identify high-value segments and opportunities for targeting
- Collaborate with data teams to build dashboards and reports that monitor KPIs such as bounce rate, time on site, funnel progression, and customer lifetime value
- Translate data insights into tailored commercial and content strategies, enabling more relevant, timely, and impactful offers across digital channels
- Collaborate with eCommerce platform teams, global marketing, analytics, and regional stakeholders to align efforts with global business goals
- Support campaign rollouts with data-driven testing and personalization strategies adapted to local retail dynamics
- Contribute to the global digital roadmap by identifying innovation opportunities and best practices on a global level
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years in eCommerce trading, campaign management, or digital sales within a global or regional role
- Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, SAP Commerce, etc.), personalization and testing tools (e.g., Dynamic Yield, Optimizely), GA4, and campaign management systems
- Data-driven mindset, strong problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, ability to manage global initiatives, and demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus, especially those relevant to key travel markets
