Role Profile
Key Accountabilities:
The primary responsibility will be overseeing the day to day operations, year-end close, quarter-end close, co-ordination with regional and local finance teams, as well as auditors, on end to end Intercompany topics for a Global Team.
Key responsibilities
-Managing the Intercompany department in the organization, consisting of Intercompany Accounts Payable, Receivable and Reconciliations processes
-Timely Reconciliation of Intercompany Balances supporting the Group Accounting and Reporting teams
-Overseeing the successful delivery of billing, cash application, invoice postings and payments processes through effective coordination within the team.
-Ensuring timely settlement of Intercompany dues among the entities
-Developing, implementing and maintaining systems, procedures and policies, within the Intercompany scope to ensure adherence to company guidelines
-Drive initiatives in ensuring a clean Intercompany position, reducing ageing of receivables and payables positions
-Identify areas for process improvements/automations and implementation
-Coordination with country finance teams in addressing Intercompany issues
-Drive quality month-end accounting closure process with agreed timelines
-Selecting and hiring the right staff, providing training support, and being involved in the performance management of the team.
-Ensure implementation and maintenance of controls within the process

Person Profile
Experience and Specific Requirements
-16-20 years of experience in General Ledger / Accounts Payable processes (preferably with Intercompany exposure)
-Strong analytical skills, Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong General ledger accounting skills
-Understanding of MIS Systems
-Working knowledge of SAP
-Expertise in MS Excel, PowerPoint and handling large amount of data sets and tasks
-Min. 8-10 yrs of team management experience
