PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Enterprise Architect position, based in Bangalore, is part of Avolta Tech’s Global Enterprise Architecture Office. The role contributes to defining and maintaining the enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, business capabilities, and technology capabilities.
The position supports multiple corporate functions (such as HR, Finance, Digital, and Supply Chain) as well as IT teams in defining target architectures and transition plans to evolve the current landscape toward the desired future state.
Additionally, the Enterprise Architect provides guidance throughout the delivery of new IT solutions, applying a broad understanding across multiple architecture domains—including business, application/solution, technical/infrastructure, and data architecture—to ensure balanced and effective solutions. The role requires strong influence across the organization and the ability to work independently while aligning with the lead enterprise architect and established Enterprise Architecture principles
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with stakeholders at various levels, including executives, business units, and IT teams, to understand business needs and ensure architectural alignment.
- Facilitate workshops and presentations to articulate and promote architecture principles, standards, and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Deduct and review architecture artifacts and capabilities, ensuring compliance with established architecture standards and principles.
- Provide guidance to project teams to ensure that project architectures align with the enterprise architecture.
- Contribute to the extending the knowledge repository of the current and future state IT and business landscape, from many perspectives, and in many formats.
- Assisting with capability, technology and service analyses and selection process.
- Drive privacy, security, control and compliancy by design as part of the Enterprise Architecture processes and workshops.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree, master degree desired
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis / enterprise architecture
- Strong understanding of business capabilities, capability models and maturity assessments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems
- Experience with waterfall and agile development methodologies
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Architecture Governance and Compliance:
- TOGAF certification desirable
- Experience with LeanIX and maintaining architecture artifacts
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Able to work and learn quickly in a fast paced, fun and dynamic environment.
- Strong, communication, management and influencing skills, verbal and in writing in English.
