PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Global Marketing Communications Lead supports the definition and implementation of Avolta’s global brand and marketing communications strategy, ensuring consistency of brand positioning and messaging across consumer touchpoints (Retail, F&B and loyalty-related platforms).
The role safeguards delivery of the global brand calendar, key campaign activations, and loyalty communication priorities while maintaining strong coordination with regional and cross-functional stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand & Communications
- Support the execution of Avolta’s global brand and communications strategy
- Ensure consistency of brand image and tone of voice across consumer touchpoints
- Coordinate messaging frameworks and campaign toolkits for regional adaptation
- Contribute to communication materials supporting major brand initiatives
- Align closely with Corporate Communications where required to ensure coherent external messaging
Campaign & Calendar Implementation
- Support development and execution of the global brand calendar in line with commercial priorities
- Ensure consistent campaign messaging across business units and geographies, in close collaboration with regional Commercial & Marketing teams
- Contribute to loyalty-related marketing initiatives in partnership with Category, Commercial and regional teams
- Drive timely execution of agreed global campaigns and toolkits
Performance & Budget Support
- Support management of the global marketing communications budget during the cover period
- Track campaign delivery and provide structured reporting on key initiatives
- Consolidate inputs from regions and agencies to ensure transparency and efficiency
- Provide insight-driven recommendations to optimize communication impact
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 8+ years of experience in global brand, marketing communications, or integrated marketing, ideally in a complex, matrix organization
- Extensive experience in travel retail or similar international retail environments is preferred
- Strong expertise in brand management, ensuring consistent tone of voice and visual identity across markets and consumer touchpoints
- Proven track record leading global campaigns, calendars, and toolkits with effective regional adaptation
- Experience partnering closely with Commercial, Category, Loyalty, and Corporate Communications teams
- Solid understanding of marketing performance tracking, reporting, and budget management
- Strategic, insight‑driven mindset with the ability to translate objectives into clear, impactful communication
- Confident stakeholder manager with strong project leadership and execution focus
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
