ROLE PURPOSE
The Global Retail Operations Manager plays a key role in supporting the definition, deployment, and continuous improvement of Avolta’s retail operational model across countries. This role ensures the successful implementation of global commercial strategies, operational best practices, and performance standards, working closely with cross-functional teams and local markets to drive consistency, efficiency, and growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the rollout of Avolta’s Business Operational Model across countries.
- Coordinate with local teams to ensure alignment with global standards and successful adoption of Modus processes and procedures.
- Monitor and report on implementation progress, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
- Assist in the execution of key retailing aspects including assortment, layout, pricing, promotions, and customer service.
- Collaborate with IT and other communities to implement solutions that support operational excellence.
- Identify, document, and promote internal best practices to enhance operational performance.
- Ensure continuous evolution of retail concepts in line with customer expectations and market trends.
- Track operational KPIs and support the translation of strategic goals into actionable plans and budgets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and support corrective actions where targets are not met.
- Provide training and documentation to support the implementation of operational models.
- Partner with Learning & Development and IT to ensure teams are equipped with the right tools and knowledge.
- Participate in the Quarterly Operational Committee and other governance forums.
- Foster collaboration across the commercial community to drive organic growth and ensure consistent execution of global strategies.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in multi-unit retail operations, preferably in an international or travel retail environment.
- Strong understanding of retail P&L, commercial concepts, and operational KPIs.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution and problem-solving.
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
