PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The position holder will focus on supporting and driving strategic and transformation projects that align with Avolta’s Destination 2027 Strategy, including research, analysis and identifying growth opportunities. S/he will collaborate with internal and external partners to execute projects effectively, while preparing reports and presentations for key stakeholders, including executive leaders. This position reports into the Global Strategy & Transformation Manager and is based in Basel, Switzerland.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports, monitors and tracks the execution of strategic and transformation projects, ensuring they align with the Avolta corporate strategy (Destination 2027), goals and objectives
  • Supports the development of strategic and transformation projects across the Group
  • Conducts research and analysis to identify growth opportunities, value-add projects or business transformation in line with our Destination 2027 strategy
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams such as commercial, digital, operational excellence, business development, IT, technology, innovation, marketing, M&A, etc.
  • Works with internal stakeholders and/or external partners to successfully execute on projects
  • Prepares regular reports and presentations to key stakeholders communicating project status, findings, and recommendations – incl. global executive committee members, functional or regional and other Avolta leadership or partners
  • Uses travel retail and F&B industry trends and best practices to continuously improve processes and drive transformation and innovation
  • Supports the senior strategy & transformation team members in day-to-day tasks and team development

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar transformation position in corporate or consultant firms
  • Proficient in Microsoft office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in (strategy) consulting, investment banking or M&A
  • Experience in retail industry
