Role Purpose
The Global Supply Chain Master Data Office Specialist is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of merchandise-related master data across systems, primarily SAP. This includes managing article, vendor, customer, and assortment data, supporting operational excellence through data quality, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the integrity of merchandise master data including Article Master, Vendor Master, Store Assortment Listings, and Pricing.
- Process article/SKU creation and extension requests in SAP and other relevant systems.
- Maintain purchase price data, including initial entry and ongoing updates.
- Create and maintain vendor and customer master data.
- Support data maintenance and cleansing initiatives related to SAP Master Data.
- Troubleshoot issues related to pricing, purchase orders, site assortments, and tax configuration.
- Collaborate with Global and Local Category Management and SC&L departments to ensure accurate assortment maintenance and program execution.
- Execute additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Master Data Category Coordinator or department leads.
Person Profile
Experience & Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in data management, preferably within a retail or supply chain environment.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Strong proficiency in SAP Retail/MM, BW, FI, and Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
