As an HR Specialist, you will be part of our People & Culture team. Our local HR team of four works closely with operations and other functions, with additional support from our Nordic colleagues in Sweden.

Your key responsibilities

We are looking for an HR Specialist to support our business with day-to-day HR operations and ensure smooth employee lifecycle management. This is a hands-on, versatile role with a strong focus on payroll coordination, HR administration, and employee support.

  • Coordinate payroll processes and ensure accurate input data
  • Manage HR administration across the full employee lifecycle (contracts, onboarding, offboarding)
  • Handle residence permits, right-to-work processes, and access badges
  • Support recruitment activities and hiring managers
  • Maintain HR systems and employee benefits
  • Act as a trusted HR contact for managers and employees

 

What we are looking for

  • Experience in an operational HR role in Finland
  • Good understanding of payroll processes Finnish labor law
  • Experience or good understanding of workforce planning and working time scheduling
  • Knowledge of the MaRa collective agreement is considered an advantage
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Hands-on, service-minded, and detail-oriented approach
  • Thrives in a multicultural and transforming environment, is motivated by change and ambiguity, and contributes actively to building future ways of working by creating clarity and shaping new processes.
  • Fluent Finnish and English

The salary range for the position is €3,500–4,100 per month. We offer a parking space during your working hours or alternatively a commuter benefit, as well as additional benefits through E-passi. You will also receive staff benefits at our own outlets and at other companies operating at the airport.

The employment is fixed-term for approximately 13 months, with a start date no later than June. The role is based at our office located at Helsinki Airport, and working hours are typically during office hours on weekdays. Please note that a standard security clearance will be conducted for all employees working at the airport. You are also required to have a valid passport or photo ID for the access badge. In addition, a valid work and residence permit in Finland is required.
