In Türkiye, Avolta operates Duty Free and F&B stores at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, along with Duty Free stores at Kayseri and Çukurova Airports.

For the role we are recruiting for, the position will provide corporate-level support across all these operations.

We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our team as a Marketing Specialist, based at

İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.

 

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Support the Marketing & Digital Manager across activities within Global Corporate Communication and Design, ensuring necessary coordination and organizing workflows in line with Avolta guidelines. Proactively align with Global teams on local adaptations, manage timelines according to assigned targets, and regularly report VM performance KPIs.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver visual merchandising guidelines and ensure cascading to all operations.

• Deliver best‑in‑class merchandising and display techniques throughout all store formats; ensure correct brand execution including standalone stores.

• Implement the promotion calendar to land with impact and maximize sales; provide feedback and share best practices with the manager and Global.

• Work closely with Operations to ensure brand guidelines and in‑store communication standards are executed consistently across all store types.

• Monitor and review KPIs of visual implementation; prepare reports/presentations and submit results to Global in required formats.

• Provide feedback to Global on necessary local adaptations of VM strategy & guidelines; prepare country proposals when needed.

• Foster a strong link with Marketing to design an intelligent, commercial customer journey, considering destination targeting and pax nationalities.

• Proactively agree clear targets/time scales and own a timetable for performance reviews.

• Follow industry trends and provide recommendations on products, services and campaigns relevant to both Retail and F&B.

 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in a relevant field.

• Excellent command of English (spoken & written)

• Minimum 3 years of marketing and visual merchandising experience covering either retail or F&B environments is an advantage.

• Knowledge of the customer journey, current trends and VM best practices.

• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to collaborate across all levels and functions.

• Creative thinker, trend‑focused, adaptable and open to innovation.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

• Knowledge of graphic programs: X‑Press, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, FreeHand, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, 3D tools, MS‑Word, MS‑Excel.

• Able to ensure in‑store standards, produce solutions, and accelerate execution across different store formats.
