We are recruiting a Nordic Finance Director/ CFO to lead finance across a growing region. If you want to join an exciting journey, this could be the role for you. Reporting to the General Manager for the Nordic Region with dotted line to the Business Unit CFO. You will be part of the Nordic management team and support the Retail and Food & Beverage business to grow profitably. 

Job description:

• Act as a trusted strategic and financial partner to the General Manager, providing insight, constructive feedback and recommendations that support decisions, performance and sustainable growth

• Assess and develop business opportunities through financial analysis, market insight and commercial input

• Ensure compliance with Group policies, local accounting and tax regulations, and effective internal controls

• Deliver timely, accurate management and statutory reporting, and coordinate internal and external audits

• Lead budgets, forecasts and performance analysis across all entities, partnering with stakeholders to resolve business issues

• Manage cash, liquidity and cash forecasting in line with Global and Regional guidelines

• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, balance sheets and Global Shared Services performance

• Ensure timely tax filings and payments, and manage local legal matters, licenses, permits and insurance policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

• 5–7+ years in a senior finance role with comparable responsibilities

• Experience in an international matrix organization, ideally in Retail, Food & Beverage or FMCG

• Proven ability to build and lead effective teams

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills

• Knowledge of IFRS and Swedish GAAP. Knowledge of GAAP of other countries in the scope is a merit."  

• Fluent English; another Nordic language is an advantage

• Strong business acumen, analytical ability and communication skills, with the resilience and judgement to prioritize, delegate and meet tight deadlines

Beneficial Experience 

• Advanced FP&A tools and SAP experience

• Strong PowerPoint skills and the ability to communicate financial topics to varied audiences

• Knowledge of GAAP in Nordic countries

About the employment

The position is a full-time permanent position with a six-month probationary period. You are located at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport with a hybrid working model. 

The work takes place partly in a security-classified area and therefore security is a high priority. We conduct a security clearance before decision on employment. More information about what a security check entails can be found here.
