About the role:

 

As a PEX Controller for region EMEA is reporting directly to the Total Rewards Manager for EMEA, you will support the planning, analysis, and reporting of Personnel Expenses (PEX) across EMEA. This role bridges Finance and People, Culture & Organization (PCO) functions, contributing to budgeting cycles and forecasting. You will work closely with regional and BU PCO teams and liaise with finance controlling to ensure accurate and timely data consolidation and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

 

PEX Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Assist in preparing zero-based budgets (ZBB) for PEX and OPEX,
  • Support the consolidation of country-level PEX inputs into regional and global templates, ensuring data accuracy
  • Track and analyze year-to-date. PEX budget versus forecast.

 

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Responsible for monthly headcount / FTE reporting
  • Prepare end of year Sustainability report for senior management and audit
  • Prepare dashboards and reports for HR and Finance leadership.
  • Ensure accuracy in PEX data across systems and templates.

 

SuccessFactors & Finance Systems:

  • Use SuccessFactors to extract and validate employee data relevant to budgeting and forecasting.
  • Upload forecasts and budgets into Anaplan
  • Collaborate with HRIS teams to improve data flows and reporting accuracy.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Liaise with country PCO teams to gather inputs and clarify role relevance for budgeting purposes.
  • Coordinate with Finance to align PEX planning, timelines and expectations within the EMEA region and EMEA countries.
  • Be the connection between PCO EMEA and Group Controlling for budgeted related process, policies, projects and timelines.  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, HR, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning, HR controlling, or data analytics in an international environment.
  • Familiarity with budgeting cycles and forecasting.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Anaplan or similar planning tools is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed, international environment.
