In Türkiye, Avolta operates Duty Free and F&B stores at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, along with Duty Free stores at Kayseri and Çukurova Airports.

For the role we are recruiting for, the position will provide corporate-level support across all these operations.

We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our team as a Recruitment and Training Unit Manager, based at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.

 

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The role provides leadership in recruitment and training, ensuring a strong talent pipeline, impactful learning delivery, and effective HR system governance. It drives workforce planning, talent readiness, and operational excellence while collaborating closely with internal departments and operational teams.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes in alignment with workforce planning requirements.
  • Responsible for implementing the country learning strategy and delivering core training programs by coordinating all internal and external learning initiatives through a best‑practice, globally aligned training framework.
  • Manage Avolta Global HR Digital Systems, ensuring process accuracy, timely updates, and compliance with global standards.
  • Drive end‑to‑end HR Analytics by analyzing KPIs, turnover trends, training effectiveness, and recruitment performance through existing systems, and support the building of integrated dashboards and data models when needed to inform strategic workforce decisions.
  • Oversee mandatory trainings (Civil Aviation, OHS, Fire Safety, First Aid) and ensure full compliance documentation.
  • Oversee performance management processes, ensuring correct system usage, workflow execution, and documentation.
  • Implement processes and tools for the Group's talent management program in collaboration with Country key business stakeholders.
  • Prepare internal communication materials such as announcements, engagement updates, and training notices.

 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree from relevant university programs.

• Excellent command of English (spoken & written)

• 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with strong focus on recruitment and training.

• Demonstrated ability and confidence in delivering effective training

• Experience working with HR systems, LMS platforms, and digital HR tools.

• Background in retail HR is a strong advantage.

• Strong analytical, reporting, planning, and organizational skills.

• Ability to lead processes independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Skilled communicator with strong stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office; HRIS experience preferred.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused mindset.
