PURPOSE OF THE ROLE 

The SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant will design, develop, and maintain SAC stories and dashboards to support financial reporting and analytics. The role requires strong technical expertise in SAC and related SAP technologies, with the ability to translate complex financial business requirements into actionable visualizations and data models. 

The SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant reports to Global IT ERP BI Architect and is based in Bangalore, India.  

  

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Build and maintain SAC stories using both live and import data models (at least one completed project in each) 

  • Apply JavaScript scripting within SAC stories to enhance interactivity and logic 

  • Translate financial business requirements into intuitive SAC dashboards and reports 

  • Integrate AI capabilities into SAC where applicable 

  • Support migration of Webi to SAC reporting 

  • Ensure data consistency and performance optimization across models 

  • Provide training and support to business users on SAC functionalities 

  • Promote adoption of SAC across financial teams 

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP BI/Analytics with proven expertise and/or substantial hands-on experience in SAC development 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.Tech or BE) /bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent  

  • SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Analytics Cloud is a must 

  • Advanced knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, and SAC integration 

  • Experience in developing HANA calculations views and CDS views 

  • Demonstrated experience in SAP BW data modeling 

  • Development experience with BO Webi  

  • SAP BW/4HANA Certification is a plus 

  • SAP HANA Modeling Certification is a plus 

  • CCS knowledge is a plus 

  • Experience with SAP S/4 Group Reporting and Central Finance (CFIN) systems is a plus 

  • Familiarity with APOS tool is a plus  

  • Fluent in English; Spanish or additional languages are an advantage 

  • High resilience and adaptability; thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and navigates ambiguity with structure 

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; credible with Operations leaders and regional teams
