PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Senior Agency Partnership Manager develops and strengthens the relationships with agency client teams, educates agencies on Avolta’s media offerings and drive high-value media investment from agencies. The position holder reports to the SVP Advertising and Commercialization and is based in Berlin, DE with expectations to transition from remote to hybrid model.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with media agencies (GroupM, Omnicom, Havas, Publicis, etc.)
  • Educate agency teams on Avolta’s Retail Media, DOOH, and Programmatic Advertising capabilities
  • Create tailored agency sales strategies, ensuring repeatable and scalable revenue growth
  • Align with internal sales teams to maximize agency-driven ad spend
  • Negotiate multi-year preferred partnerships with major media buying groups

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years experience in Agency Sales, Media Partnerships, or Business Development
  • Strong knowledge of digital advertising, DOOH, and programmatic media
  • Proven track record in building and scaling agency partnerships
  • Deep understanding of agency dynamics, client buying behaviors, and media investment cycles
  • Fluent in English, speech and writing; additional language is an asset
  • Strong ability to lead multi-cultural and cross-functional teams
  • Effectively communicate strategies and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving start-up setting
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into the essential points to inform executive decision-making
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed organization
  • Superior relationship-building and exceptional consultative skills with a passion and hunger to win
  • Results-oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and a “hands-on” person with a proven ability to meet objectives and targets
  • Travel required, as necessary, for customer-facing activities and team collaboration
  • Recognize and understand critical cultural approaches to doing business globally
  • Executive presentation skills; including in-person, written, and verbal
