PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

 

The role is responsible for leading and coordinating the operations-facing order processing activities within the Distribution Center network, ensuring full alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational standards. Acting as a key interface between Supply Chain and Operations, the position drives service excellence, product availability and inventory optimization across all distribution channels, contributing to overall business performance

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Order Processing & Supply Coordination

  • Oversee and coordinate end-to-end order processing activities from Distribution Centers to Operations, ensuring alignment with planning and operational calendars.
  • Ensure timely release of orders, including novelties and promotional campaigns, to support commercial objectives.
  • Drive on-time and accurate delivery performance across all distribution channels.

Service Level & Performance Management

  • Monitor and continuously improve DC service levels to Operations across categories and markets.
  • Track, analyse and report key supply chain KPIs, including fill rates, service levels and exception management.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), proactively addressing deviations.

Retail Service Excellence

  • Act as a key point of contact for service delivery towards retailers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with country teams to monitor global supply chain performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Define and implement action plans to enhance store service levels and product availability.

Inventory Optimization & Control

  • Ensure optimal inventory levels across Operations, balancing service, availability and financial targets.
  • Monitor stock quality (ABC classification), as well as slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
  • Track stock coverage and ensure alignment with budget and business requirements.

OTB & Financial Governance

  • Manage and validate Open-to-Buy (OTB) approvals across countries and categories, ensuring alignment with financial targets and business priorities.

Claims & Compliance

  • Ensure the consistent application of claims policies and guidelines across Operations.
  • Review, validate and approve operational claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

 

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

  • Proven experience in Operations Service, Order Processing or Supply Chain roles (warehouse, transport, or distribution environments).
  • Solid understanding of Supply and Demand Planning processes within complex, international organizations.
  • Experience in international retail environments is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • High level of customer orientation, with a focus on service excellence and precision.
  • Collaborative team player, with the ability to work effectively across functions, geographies and cultures.
