In Türkiye, Avolta operates Duty Free and F&B stores at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, along with Duty Free stores at Kayseri and Çukurova Airports.
For the role we are recruiting for, the position will provide corporate-level support across all these operations.
We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our team as a Supply Chain Planning & Purchasing Manager, based at İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To manage the weekly ordering cycle, optimize replenishment parameters, ensure accurate forecasting, maintain healthy inventory levels, and lead supplier purchasing activities to support the country’s operational and commercial needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the planning and ordering process; execute the weekly replenishment cycle.
• Ensure accuracy of replenishment system data (on‑hand, in‑transit, open orders, sales).
• Calculate replenishment needs; generate and approve purchase orders.
• Monitor stock levels, in‑transit inventory and forecast accuracy; take corrective actions.
• Track key KPIs (Line Fill Rate, Lead Time) and drive improvement measures.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and vendors on order quantities, timing and pricing.
• Lead supplier communication, share forecasts & KPIs, and review performance.
• Manage liquidation plans and discontinued items.
• Improve planning tools and ensure adherence to logistics processes and guidelines.
• Prepare analytical reports and support category coordination meetings.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
• University degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent command of English (spoken & written)
• Minumum 5 years experience in Supply & Demand Planning, Purchasing or Forecasting
• Strong SAP knowledge — essential for this role
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Highly organized; able to manage multiple priorities efficiently
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
• Experience working with international suppliers (preferred)
• Collaborative team player with a proactive and solution‑oriented mindset
